This service tests the validity of an RSS 2.0 feed, checking to see that it follows the rules of the RSS specification. For advice from the RSS Advisory Board on how to implement RSS and handle issues such as enclosures and HTML encoding, read the RSS Best Practices Profile. This checker is also a validator of Atom and RSS 1.0 feeds.

Use this tester regularly to ensure that your RSS feed continues to work well in the wide audience of RSS readers, podcast clients and other software that supports the format.

Congratulations!

 45.
…For the concerns of the World. Thank God for the great changes in our society that mean women are more fully valued on our own culture than was the case in earlier generations. Pray that gender equality may continue to be more fully achieved here. Pray for countries where that is not yet the case, that discrimination based on gender may end, and humans everywhere may be treated with dignity as children of God.

 46.
…For the Worldwide Church. Pray for Bishop David. Pray too for the whole ministry team at Saint Andrew’s church, whether lay or ordained, that in all that they do they may draw the congregation into worship that is pleasing to God. Pray too for the outward focus of the church as it seeks to serve the local community in the town and beyond. Give thanks for the whole congregation and for the faithful generations of worshipers who have grown and sustained it. Pray also for the generations to come.

 47.
…For those you know. Thank God for the example of Mary, who shows us “the better part”. Pray for those whose busy-ness is overwhelming, or who hide behind a shield of busyness as a means of avoiding difficult things in their own lives. Pray that they may be able to cease from being worried and distracted by things – so that they may encounter Jesus.

 48.
…For yourself, and for the tasks of the day. As you reflect on the passage and the image for today, can you identify with any of the characters or the story here? To whom or what do you feel drawn as you read and look? Allow yourself to mull that over, and talk to God about what you feel. Perhaps you are busy and don’t want to stop? Why is that? Or perhaps you long to sit at Jesus’ feet for a while and to experience what that is like? Ask God for what you need and trust him to provide for you.

 134.
…For the concerns of the World. Pray for groups who things differently, that they may be granted a common vision and strive to live in peace and harmony together. Thank God for the diversity of his creation, but pray that diversity will not result in acrimony, whether between religions, in politics or in day to day life. Pray for contexts where there is acrimony now, for whatever reason.

 135.
…For the Worldwide Church. Pray for Bishop David and for our rector, Trevor. Pray for the Midweek lunch and today, that it may be a blessing to those who attend. Elsewhere in this diocese, pray for the congregation at Kinross. In the Calcutta diocese remember St Stephen’s Church. Luke is the only apostle to tell us the story of the prodigal son, depicted in the image below and recounted here. Take time to read the parable or simply contemplate the image. Ask God to speak to you through it, and whatever you receive, respond to Him in worship.

 308.
…For the concerns of the World. Pray for Nepal. In the aftermath of bad weather in the Annapurna region, at least 28 people have been killed whilst trekking. Pray for those who have lost loved ones – both natives of Nepal and those from other countries. Pray for the communities that have been hurt by these events, particularly those that are rural and rely on visitors to the mountains.

 309.
…For the Worldwide Church, remembering Bishop David and our Rector, Trevor. Pray for the Dobbings, our CMS mission partners in Nepal. 310.
…For those you know. Pray for young people you know: perhaps in your family or amongst friends, neighbours and colleagues. Ask God to guard and guide them. Pray that they may grow into well rounded young adults, and pray too that they may grow in faith.

 311.
…For yourself, and for the tasks of the day. What are your needs today? Are there things due to happen about which you are stressed, anxious or fearful? Are you too busy? Or perhaps not busy enough, feeling lonely or isolated? If you have concerns for today, bring them to God, trusting that nothing we bring is too big or too small for God to handle, and that God delights to hear from us – whoever we are and no matter how worthy or unworthy we may feel ourselves to be. He loves us and promises to answer our prayers. Thank Him for that and trust him with whatever is on your mind.

 385.
…For the Worldwide Church, remembering Bishop David and our Rector, Trevor. Pray for the Midweek lunch and midday prayer service that takes place today, that it may be a source of community and joy for those who attend, and that the worship offered may glorify God. Pray too for other ministries in the town where food and hospitality are shared as means of communicating the love of God. Pray for churches where those who minister are unable to meet the food needs of those they serve. Pray for solutions to be found to hunger, that all may have plenty.

 386.
…For those you know. Pray for all who are on holiday from school or work this week, asking God to refresh them. Pray that they may find joy and peace in their time away from their usual activities. Pray too for any for whom this holiday time means increased stress or anxiety, that they may be supported and provided for in practical as well as spiritual ways.

 387.
…For yourself, and for the tasks of the day. Reflect on the demands of the life of discipleship. How do you feel about the expectations Jesus places on the disciples in today’s reading? Talk to God about that. How might this passage be reflected in your own life? Are there situations where you, like the disciples, would prefer to send people home or ask them to go away rather than go the extra mile to serve them and to trust that God will provide for your needs as you do so? Bring all of this to God, and listen for whatever he may have to say to you about it.

Pray too for people in our own country who do not have adequate accommodation and shelter. Pray for us to develop systems that can address these needs well: with justice and mercy and generosity. Pray for the town of St Andrews today: for all who live and work here and for the witness of the Church here to the love of Christ.

 423.
…For the Worldwide Church, remembering Bishop David and our Rector, Trevor. Pray for those who offer prayer as part of our Healing Ministry. Pray that God would be glorified by that ministry and that through it people know themselves upheld in times of need, their prayers answered and their faith strengthened as they see God at work. Pray too for the congregation at Dunblane, for Nick Green, Jeanette Allan, David Redwood and their Lay Reader Nerys Brown. Remember the worldwide work of the Mothers’ Union. Pray for our linked Diocese in Calcutta, asking God to bless St Mark’s Church and their priest Anup Mondol.

 424.
…For those you know. Give thanks for ways in which you have seen prayers for people you have prayed for answered. If there are situations that you have been praying about for a long time and where you especially long to see God work in a fresh way, bring those to God this morning. Ask Him to work in those places, giving courage to those who need it, so that they might find the confidence to take the risk of asking God for what they need. Pray that as they do so they will know God at work in them in tangible ways. Thank God that no prayer goes unanswered.

 425.
…For yourself, and for the tasks of the day. Thank God for his presence with you. Commit your day to God, asking for the grace to be a good witness today. Pray that you may exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in all your dealings today, and that others may see something of Christ and His love for them through you.
